At First candle outreach ltd, we believe that no one should suffer from thirst or waterborne diseases simply because they lack access to clean water. Yet, millions of people worldwide still walk long distances to fetch unsafe water, risking their health and livelihoods.

To combat this crisis, we have launched our Borehole Construction Initiative, providing sustainable and clean water solutions to underserved communities.

In Nabutaka Village, a rural village in Luwero District where families once walked 5 kilometers daily to collect dirty water from a Well, our borehole has brought new hope.

"Before Helping Hands for Humanity came, my children were always sick, and I spent hours carrying water," says Mama Fat, a mother of four. "Now, clean water is just a few steps away. My children are healthier, and I have time to grow vegetables for our family and sell at the market."
